Why the rubber chicken?

Jess had a rubber chicken which she would bring out for holidays.
It would show up in Easter baskets, be hung on the wall as part of her Halloween decorations, and would be placed on her Christmas tree.
When the family needed a logo for Jess Day, a rubber chicken wearing a flower lei seemed the most appropriate one,
and one that they knew Jess would absolutely love.

One of Jess's cousins lives in Hawaii, and Jess visited him there for a vacation once.
She truly loved Hawaii and so the lei represents her love of Hawaii,
as well as showing a little bit of "the aloha spirit" which Hawaii is so famous for sharing with the world.
